Maya Uyeno, 19, passed away on February 19, 2023.  She was a beloved daughter to Richard and Tania and a loyal and loving older sister to Mason.  

Words cannot properly express the depth of our gratitude for your condolences, support and prayers. Thank you for sharing some of your memories of Maya with us. So comforting. We’ve even learned a few things about her that we never knew before. Thank you!  

We’ve received beautiful pictures drawn by children. These are priceless! We’ve received telephone calls, cards, messages and many visits. We’ve been overwhelmed by the love and support of so many.  Flowers and plants have filled our home. A stunning and beautiful contrast against the backdrop of our dreary winter days. And we have benefitted from the prayers of many on our behalf. All of this has touched our hearts and we know it will continue to do so in the days ahead. Please know that we are forever grateful to be the recipients of such genuine love and compassion.
